Presentations have to be up-loaded the day before the session in which your talk is scheduled (For the Monday talks, please upload your file during the welcome reception on Sunday evening). Please follow the sign to the file-upload room.
Power Point 2007/2010 (Windows version) will be installed on the computers in the lecture hall. Apple users please make sure that your presentation will work on MS-Windows based systems, as Apple computers will not be available. As a last resort you may use a PDF file. It will not be possible to use your own computer for your presentation, as connecting and disconnecting computers is too time consuming.
Please embed True-types in your presentation to avoid problems with special characters.
Keep in mind that Powerpoint up to 2007 does not embed videos in the presentation. So place the video (mp4, avi) in the same directory as the presentation file. Animated GIFs are preferable, as they are embedded into the PPT-file and are not subject to codec problems.
The maximum allowed size of posters is DIN A0.
Poster sessions will take place each day right after the lunch breaks. Presenting authors are kindly requested to be in front of their poster during the poster session. Please underline the name of the presenting author. We wish to remind you that an award for the best poster will be offered by the Journal Plants.
Authors are responsible for mounting the posters on the corresponding board, as well as removing them at the end of the conference. The materials for poster mounting will be provided by organizers. Boards will be indicated by a number, according to the abstract book. All posters should be accessible for duration of the meeting.
